Dr. Jockin is highly educated, receiving her undergraduate degree at the University of California at Berkeley followed by her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of California at San Francisco. Shortly after her graduation, Dr. Jockin took part in an implant mini-residency and an advanced seven-month implant continuum. Currently, Dr. Jockin is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI).
Known for her compassion and gentle manner, Dr. Jockin prioritizes the needs of our patients and listens to all your concerns with the goal of achieving your dream smile. In doing so, she’s able to customize treatment plans according to each individual’s needs, ensuring the best dental care possible.
Dr. Jockin is proud of the work she does and she’s happy to help our patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health and function. In fact, she is a champion of digital dentistry and can’t imagine delivering the high-quality results without it. Dr. Jockin has been practicing CBCT integrated implantology since 2011 and she really values having full control over the entire process and her patients’ dental implant experience.
In addition to being highly skilled in the use of CBCT technology, Dr. Jockin is an Associate Professor at UF Gainesville, where she teaches CAD/CAM digital workflows to Graduate Prosthetics Residents.
Dr. Jockin is also a speaker for Dentsply/Sirona Implants and a lecturer who helps promote 3D implant dentistry. She was recruited by CEREC to train doctors in the use of one-visit crowns. She’s also designated as a CEREC Doctors mentor and founder and educational director of CEREC Seminars.com, a digital dentistry training facility in Tampa, FL.
Dr. Jockin implements all this knowledge in her own dental practice and uses 3D guided planning software to position implants more accurately, ensuring a predictable outcome. In order to remain at the forefront of dentistry, Dr. Jockin completes a number of continuing education courses every year, exceeding the hours required by the state of Florida. She also acquires additional credentials on an annual basis with her focus being implant dentistry, laser dentistry, and restorative and surgical techniques. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Jockin enjoys snowboarding and scuba diving with her husband Jay and son Victor.
